Dr. Rod French is a Harvard-trained plastic surgeon in Vancouver, Canada who specializes in hand and wrist surgery. The challenges of the athlete’s hand, musicians and artists, actors, and the hard-working hand each require a unique treatment and rehabilitation plan when function or appearance is altered. He practices only in a private setting and at WorkSafeBC (WCB) in order to dedicate the amount of time needed to develop healthy, patient-centered relationships.
His goal is to improve and restore hand and wrist function to the level that allows the individual to do the remarkable things with their hands that they are capable of. Dr. French has a subspecialty interest and training in Sports Medicine and sport-related hand and wrist injuries. He has also devoted an increasing amount of time to Independent Medical-Legal Assessments.
